In a survey of 23k, 80% favoured a ban on plastics which can't be easily recycled. Is this a subject for the People Movement - will the People dictating policy rather than those who've failed to deal with this?

Exciting and novel ideas come from people - not gov'ts. If the people were in charge of the planet - not gov'ts - the world would change in an instant! People have not been allowed to take the lead before.

A great deal of the plastic that ends up in the ocean is produced by huge corporations - the same ones that heavily promote "plastic recycling" - even though it's not a solution. We need a different system!

A Grown-Up Intelligent Society - GUIS - would never dream of produced things without the recycling of those things being in place. Our society is not GUIS - but people could make this change happen.

There's a boom happening - and set to explode over coming years - in the production of single use plastic. We're being told about this - the gov't is told about this. But the gov't are not on course to stop this.
