The oceans of the world are vast - covering over 71% of the entire Earth's surface. 

In 1900 the ocean was near to pristine, since so little of mankind's activity then had affected the seas and the creatures whose home it is.​
 

Fast forward just 100yrs - to 2000 - and the effect of mankind's careless behaviour is now beginning to be clearly noticed.

And just 25yrs later, in 2025, mankind's effect is not only clearly noticed - but it's now causing major catastrophes within the ocean itself and, in particular, all the marine life that depends on its richness for its healthy living.

At this advanced stage in the ocean's degradation, it now impacts on all us humans too - particularly those who consume marine life for survival.  

Our future - and that of all living creatures on this earth - cannot now depend upon over-stretched and some well-meaning politicians.
